NMR BEYOND SPECTROSCOPY – LOW AND HIGH FIELD NMR IN MATERIAL SCIENCE – November 07- 08, 2019 – EMBRAPA SOLOS, Rio de Janeiro
A partnership between EMBRAPA and AUREMN is responsible for organizing a NMR course entitled “NMR beyond spectroscopy – Low and high field NMR in material science”, which will be held at EMBRAPA Solos, from 7th and 8th of November 2019, Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro.
Address: Rua Jardim Botânico, 1024 (Just next to the main entrance of the Jardim Botânico).
Associate Professor Petrik Galvosas from School of Chemical and Physical Sciences – Victoria University of Wellington – Wellington – New Zeland will be in charge of teaching this course.

Session 1: Introducing methods: Relaxometry, Exchange, Diffusometry, Velocimetry, multidimensional Laplace methods.
Session 2: related to porous media research: Flow and diffusion, exchange, Surface to volume ratios, tortuosity, porosity, micro to macro porous materials.
Session 3: related to (complex) fluids, soft matter, emulsions. Rheo-NMR
Session 4: hands on or demo session (It depends on the number of participants).
