Hotel do Bosque is surrounded by a paradisiacal landscape, close to 3 km of preserved beach and river and to 300.000 m² of native forest.

Located 50 km away from the town of Angra dos Reis, 200 km away from Rio de Janeiro and 310 km away from São Paulo, hotel do Bosque provides the perfect atmosphere for full interaction between all participants of the Users Meeting.

 

Official Letters of Invitation

Designed to help participants to meet administrative requirements in certain countries, official letters of invitation for entry visa or other purposes may be supplied upon request. Please allow sufficient time for this procedure. Note that such letters do not commit the Organizing Committee to any kind of financial support, hosting arrangement, nor does it guarantee an entry visa issue.

 

Passport and Entry Visa

Participants are strongly advised to make sure they fulfill all legal requirements to enter Brazil. Besides a valid passport, an entry visa may also be required. Please check with your nearest Brazilian Consulate.

 

National Currency & Exchange Rate

The Brazilian monetary unit is the Real (R$). The exchange rate available to visitors is published daily in the newspapers along with the commercial dollar rate of the day used in official international business transactions. Cash and traveller's check can be exchanged at most banks, at exchange houses as well as in the major hotels. All major credit cards are accepted in Brazil, and some shops even accept US$ dollars.

 

Language

The official language in Brazil is Portuguese, but the official language of the event is English.

 

Electrical Appliances

Electrical appliances in Brazil operate on 110 – 120 Volts. The frequency is 60 Hz, and type N socket and plug are the official standard in Brazil (Type N consists of two pins and a grounding pin). Some hotels are equipped with sockets interchangeable between 110 Volts and 220 Volts.

 

Weather

The climate in Angra dos Reis is predominantly tropical with average temperatures varying between 25°C (75°F) and 30°C (82°F). Dress will be informal for all meetings throughout the event. A light jacket or cardigan for the evening is suggested as temperatures may drop slightly.
